About us
Let’s be honest right away: we don’t make that many birdies. And tap in birdies? Even fewer.
But that is also what’s so great about golf. It’s a sport for us amateurs. A sport where you can shoot a score of over 100 and still go home with a smile just because you happened to flash a bit of brilliance on one hole. Because sometimes it happens. Sometimes you hit a perfect drive, place your approach shot exactly where you intended (or at least close enough), and suddenly have a chance for a birdie.
That feeling. That little, unexpected triumph. It’s hard to explain to someone who doesn't play golf – but it’s one of the reasons we keep going. That we book a new tee time. That we drag ourselves out in light drizzle, set the alarm on weekend mornings, and drift away to the greens while we’re sitting at the office.

The birdie is rare – and for that very reason, magical
For us mere mortal golfers, birdies aren’t something you count on. They’re like bonus points in a game where you’re mostly just trying to stay on the fairway and avoid the bunkers. But when they do come, and when everything clicks for a few minutes, it suddenly feels like you’re in a broadcast from Augusta. It’s as if your body, the club, and the ball are, for a moment, speaking the same language.
And it doesn’t even have to be a perfect hole. It can be a blind approach shot that gets a lucky bounce on a hill. A lucky putt that happens to take the right line or a nervous shot that lands a meter from the pin. The point is: when the birdie is there, it doesn't matter how it happened. It’s that it happened that counts. And in that moment, we’re all pros, if only for a short while.

Tap in Birdie as a philosophy
The name Tap in Birdie isn’t about us always playing well. It’s about us playing. That we love the sport. That we make the most of those moments that lift an entire round. It could be a really great shot, a laugh at the tee box, or a coffee in the sun after nine holes.
It’s also about community. About how golf is better together. With friends you’ve played with for ten years or someone you just met on the first tee. Because every time we stand there with the club in our hands, we have a new chance. A chance to feel that little rush again. And maybe, if everything goes our way, set up for a tap in birdie.

So, what does it actually mean?
For us, a tap in birdie is more than just an easy putt for under par. It is the symbol of why we love this sport. It’s the hope that something magical can happen – at any time, on any hole. It’s the reminder that even if the score gets high, there’s always something to take home with you. A feeling. A moment. A memory.
And that is exactly what we want to build around Tap in Birdie. Not a place for pros, but for those of us who play for the joy, the community, and the small moments.
We don’t chase perfection.
We chase the feeling.
And sometimes, with a little luck and a lot of patience, it comes in the form of a tap in birdie.
