Golf, sun and Spanish masterpieces
During our latest trip to Spain, we experienced something truly special. Three fantastic golf courses, a talented photographer (https://www.instagram.com/sarazeraiphotography/) who captured the moments, many lovely people we met along the way, and a lot of laughter made our days filled with joy and wonderful memories.
We started at Las Ramblas, a course that really challenged us. Here, the holes wind their way through a varied landscape where nature plays the leading role. With its elevation changes, strategic bunkers, and greens that demand concentration, every hole became a fun challenge.
Next, we played Villa Martin Golf, which offered a more classic layout. Old olive trees lined the fairways and gave the course a special character. Relatively short but still challenging.
The absolute favorite of the trip, however, was Saurines Golf. We liked the course so much that we played it more than once. With its unique layout of sandy waste areas, palm trees, and open views, every shot felt different and fun. Even though you almost always found the ball in the sandy areas, it was a challenge to hit from there, and that very mix made it extra fun.
In addition to the golf, we enjoyed everything surrounding the courses. We ate fantastic paellas, took the time to discover the surroundings, and shared many wonderful moments with people we met along the way.
Whether you are looking for a challenge, beautiful scenery, or a lovely day in the sun, we highly recommend Las Ramblas, Villa Martin, and Saurines. All three delivered really great golf experiences, but Saurines stood out as the course that captured our interest the most.
