On the Instagram account @par.tee.hard, humor blends with honest reflections, stylish outfits, and that addictive feeling of hitting the ball just right. We had a chat with the person behind the account, who shares the journey from a nervous first swing in Florida to the dream of launching a golf-inspired clothing brand with a stoic twist. Here’s a dose of inspiration, laughter, and warmth.
🏌️♀️ Your Golf Journey
Do you remember the first time you ever picked up a golf club?
The first time I picked up a golf club was a few years ago, during my vacation in Florida. My friend made me play a round and I knew nothing about golf at that time. People were watching me swing at the tee box and I couldn’t hit a ball. It was a humbling experience.
What made you fall in love with the game? Was it instant, or did it grow on you?
My first golf experience wasn’t the best, so it threw me off for some time. I got to play a few times at Topgolf, hit a few good shots and that’s when I got hooked. I noticed I started to improve and that made me fall in love with the game.
What is it about golf that keeps you coming back to the course again and again?
Golf is addictive. I love golf because I love nature, and good company. But what keeps me coming back is the good shots I hit on a course. You want to hit it again, and hit it well. And when you hit a bad shot- you know you can do better, so you hit it until you get a good shot. I am addicted to improving myself, and I have a long way to go to become a great golfer. I enjoy the process of learning. I keep coming back to the course to prove myself that I can hit well and that I am improving.
📸 Golf & Content
Tell us about @par.tee.hard – how did the idea for the account come about?
My friend from Lithuania was visiting and we played a few rounds and we joked about that we should create a youtube channel or an Instagram account and post ourselves. We thought we were being ridiculous on the course and that some people would find it entertaining . A week later I created this account and posted a few pictures of us. And so it began.
Do you plan what you post, or is it more of a “go with the flow” vibe?
I don’t overthink my posts. Just post whatever I find funny, or if I hit a decent shot and I happen to have that recorded.
Your content feels like a mix of humor, style, and pure love for the game – how would you describe it?
I try to keep my content real, raw and relatable. We all are funny, sometimes cute and at times angry. I share what I feel is relatable.
⛳️ On the Course
What’s your current favorite club in the bag?
One club in my bag, which I would be very sad to replace, would be my Lombardi putter. I’ve owner a few Taylor Made putters and had opportunities to try different ones too, but nothing felt like my Pinstripe blackout by Lombardi. I don’t know if it’s the graphite shaft and the quality of the grip, must be combination of all. It’s like it’s just perfect for me .
Describe your dream round – location, weather, company, and vibe.
Dream round. I had not thought about it really. I would say it would be some tropical place. Maybe Thailand. My favorite people, a beautiful warm day, not sunny, not windy.
What’s your biggest strength on the course – and what’s that one thing that still drives you nuts?
My biggest strength is my attitude. It makes me resilient. But when it comes to the game, I feel like I drive and putt pretty well. I would like to improve my chipping, my overall swing form and add distance to my shots.
🧢 Golf Style & Vibes
Golf fashion is having a moment – how do you think about style on the course?
Golf fashion is definitely having a moment and I love that there are so many options for men and women. I love to dress up for golf. I had worked with some brands and tried their merchandise and I can say this: out of all the clothes and hats with cool and fun designs , I always choose to wear what is most comfortable. So regardless of the design- a customer will love a product that fits best and looks flattering . So for anyone planning to launch their clothing brand - I would say focus on the quality and cut.
Do you have any go-to pieces or accessories that are always part of your golf look?
With all honesty I need to renew my golf closet. It’s always my favorite mini skirt and some polo shirt. But there are a few items that I have in my car, it goes well with any fit and I just love the quality and how it fits. I have a ton of golf hats, but those that I love the most are hats by Fairway Golf Group and Trouble off the tee.
If you could design your own golf accessory or piece of clothing, what would it be – and what vibe would it have?
I’ve been thinking about designing my own golf apparel, but. At the moment what I have in mind is not something you wear on the course, but rather streetwear. I do have some cool designs in my mind which I used AI create. Let’s say it would have a stoic kick to it. I’m big into stoicism. Stoic mentality is a must on a golf course. I struggle to find time for all the projects I’ve taken on, but launching my own clothing line is in the back of my brain, waiting for an opportunity to manifest.
🫶 Community & Inspiration
What do you hope people feel when they scroll through your feed?
When people scroll through my feed, I hope they feel welcome and invited, I hope they can relate to my content and feel inspired.
Have you noticed friends or followers getting into golf because of what you share?
Absolutely. I feel like those that know me and see my posts feel inspired to be more free on the course and to talk more freely about their golf game, and struggles. I feel like it sets me free too.
If someone’s curious about golf but hesitant to try – what would you say to encourage them?
I would say - “what do you have to lose?”. I think golf is an absolute best way to spend your days and to meet cool people. It’s a fun way to keep yourself active. With all honesty, I think my life was bland before golf. And I lived a quite exciting life already. Golf gave me some purpose, with no great pressure. Just an opportunity for myself to grow and improve as an athlete and simply as a human.
✨ And finally…
Imagine you're writing a headline for your ideal golf day – what would it say?
“My first hole in one” cause what’s more ideal than that.
If you could create your dream ‘19th hole’ (clubhouse hangout) experience, what would it include?
My 19th hole would be a tikki beach themed lounge/bar with lounge chairs on a white sandy beach and palm trees and lots of tropical plants and a pool by the bar.
